I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shopify (Ottawa, ON) in Feb 2015
Interview
Applied online, got an email quickly. Set a phone interview for the week after, told it would take 15 minutes. Interview happened, and was mainly broad questions, about life or school. Asked to elaborate on a project that was on my resume. That was it. It was very casual, but questions were so broad it was hard not to ramble or stray from what they may want.
