Like others have described here, they only wanted to know about my personal life and any "after school activities" I participated in; however, I could see this coming given that many other individuals have mentioned that the process is always like this. The issue I have with Shopify is specifically their lack of any organizational skills and professionalism. They could not seem to remember to follow up with me at any point, and the issue I take with this is that they had known all along that they were not considering me, but had decided to "string be along" either way. They also couldn't ever remember to email me back (huge lack of time management skills). Frankly, their lack of professionalism is absolutely astonishing with no one seeming to be the least bit busy or have anything productive to do (girls at the front desk were gossiping and forgot to give me a name tag). The entire process took over 1 month and I didn't even make it to the last round so I wouldn't waste my time with this company if you're looking for serious work. These people are just young kids that have absolutely no idea what they're doing so also be prepared for the "interview" to feel really awkward (the girl who interviewed me couldn't even make small talk at the beginning and I had to ask her how her day was; so weird).
