The interview was a standard in-person interview, even though many of their positions were still remote at the time. The interview itself went well, but the thing is that I had worked at the company before previously and in the exact same role in another department, but because it was contracted prior to COVID, they chose, to my knowledge, someone internal who was not familiar with the responsibilities. They did not give a single reason for not hiring me despite giving me glowing reviews in my previous position.
