Let's just say the interview process at Simon-Kucher is very German. I mean the company is Germany. The entire process was very dry. I did 2 phone screens, in both cases the interviewers weren't interested in discussing Simon-Kucher or their backgrounds, they just wanted to get into the case study and step out. I was surprised they required 2 phone screens. The in-office interview included a lunch and 3 case study interviews. In the case study interviews they interviewers also were not interested in discussing Simon-Kucher, and only interested in the case. For example, the first case study I walked into the interviewer's office and they straight out asked me 1.) why I wanted to work at Simon-Kucher, 2.) my background, 3.) my current salary. Then they had me do a computer exercise case study. It was very awkward. The second interviewer also seemed extremely bored and did not seem to want to be there. The entire process it seemed the employees were very dry people, or just not interested in their company or work. Usually when I interview I feel good about the environment and people, but that was not the case here, I almost walked out. They also require you to do a math exercise of 12 questions within 15 minutes, it was very rushed.

Step 1 is a cognitive reasoning test, Step 2 and 3 are 2 video conference interviews and then step 4 is 4 more in person interviews with leaders of the office and division you are applying for
