Recruiter contacted me via email and wanted to have a chat. Had a 40 min chat with her where I was asked questions on various projects and aspects of marketing. I could sense her disinterest during the call. And soon enough, I got a standard rejection email. I replied to the mail asking for some feedback. In my opinion, I was really qualified for the role and pretty much met every job requirement. And complete silence from her, no response. I don’t care as I got a better job with better benefits and a more high value brand. However, I really wish companies like Siteminder would respect candidate’s time. And not just interview people to meet number targets and then not even bother sharing feedback. So I’m leaving this feedback in the hope that Siteminder will ensure the hiring process and communication is better and more empathetic to candidates especially during covid.
