I went through an intensive and multi- layered interview process for the role of Coordinator.
1. Formal interview with the main director
2. Interview with Regionals
3. Working interview (1-2 hours)
After all this they did not respond to me for over a month after my final “working” interview. I checked in after 2 weeks and they said they were still deciding. A whole month goes by and I had to be the one to reach out again. Still the same response. If you’re going to have a candidate go through an intensive interview process at least give them the decency of a call or even email so as not to leave someone in limbo. Candidates devote time, effort, and preparation and deserve a timely response. I finally messaged one of the regional managers to see what the status was and only after that I got a very generic email from the coordinator turning me down for the role.
I give more of a decent response to my applicants pursuing a part-time role.
Also, there is something so weird about a “working interview.”
