I went to the Skywest open house in Norfolk, VA on June 16th. there was about 20 of us and we all had a chance to talk to one another, which was really nice. at exactly 6:00pm, the recruiters came and started to talk to us about the company, their benefits, training, and what to expect during our time with skywest. *ADVICE# 1: PAY ATTENTION!!!! recruiters do not like it when you are taking notes because that means you are not 100% paying attention, also, do not talk while the recruiters are talking (people were doing that...it was annoying). Also, sit in the front row, even when nobody's sitting in the front (trust me)* After their introduction, we had a 10-15 min break. Right after the break, everyone had to do a 60 sec or less speech on "Why would you be a good flight attendant." *ADVICE #2: If you are reading this, PREPARE YOURSELF!!!! This is a make or break moment, so be sure to at least have an idea on what to say. DO NOT GO OFF TOPIC, DO NOT TALK ABOUT YOUR AGE, DO NOT TALK ABOUT YOUR FAMILY, AND DO NOT TALK ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU LOVE TO TRAVEL!!!!!* After our introduction, we had another (and final) break, which took about 20-30 mins. This break was for the recruiters to make a list of people who are staying for the f2f interview. Out of 20 of us, 10 people (including myself) were on the list. The f2f was very relaxing, and very quick. As of now, I am waiting on my offer. I really hope this review helps you on your interview.
