As every one here stated already, therefore I won't get into any details. Just some advice for future candidates.
I believe my I did not get chosen because I wasn't smiling enough or conversing with others. The reason why I was not smiling as much was because the whole room was smiling and laughing at anything really hard, that made me catch some negative vibes from the room. I'm not the type to smile and laugh for anything just as everyone there was.
Alot of people who gave their speeches did very good, I did very good for about the first 40 seconds, I knew what I wanted to say but I just couldn't finish up my speech, I froze at the end and I believe that's the reason I wasn't chosen which is acceptable, If i was the flight recruiters I wouldn't of had chosen my self due to freezing at the end. If your going to present your speech do it correctly and make your point clear. Many people stood up, stated their name gave the first reason why they wanted to be a flight attendant and then froze to the point of no return, I MEAN IT. Its nerve wrecking, specially for your first time. I had my speech down packed I knew every single thing I wanted to tell them and I still froze on the last thing I wanted to say, NO GOOD. I'm guessing my nerves got to me at that point.
REMEMBER THIS AND DO IT CORRECTLY and YOU WILL GET A F2F and Potentially get hired.
-Smile
-Converse with others (I only conversed with a certain few close to me, others where really trying to talk to every single person which i find annoying and not sincere.)
That's about it. out of 70 or so only 10 or so got chosen.
I still had a very good positive experience for my first time, the recruiters were very welcoming.
GOOD LUCK AND REMEMBER EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THAT ROOM IS NERVOUS, except the recruiters they seem to know what they were doing.
