I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2016
Interview
Anyone can go their open interviews. Once there, they will spend about 15 minutes talking about the company, allowing for questions. You will then have 1 minute a person to speak in front of the large group on why you would make a good flight attendant for skywest. After this, there is a 45 minute break and then they will pick a select few for face to face interviews.
PLEASE NOTE: They ask you not to talk about your family. A lot of people did. Out of 70 people 12 were selected for interviews. A few did well, but every single person that got a face to face was dressed exactly alike. Some of them came unprepared and to me it is sad. I am so blessed not to be working for a company like this! One girl came without her resume (required). This company focuses more on looks/presence then your actual presentation. People picked had relatives working for the company.
Have fun with the process!
It was a virtual one on one and after this process they alerted me of my training date a week later. The process was so pretty seemless and the company is good to work for but any little mistake you make you can be out.
The interview process was quick and easy. The recruiters were nice and answered all of my questions. They explained how the benefits worked and were very knowledgeable and the company.
