I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Since this website has helped me so much I wanted to pass it forward.
This interview isn't hard. Just come prepared. Don't think you can completely wing this thing.
When you get invited to the interview, they first give an overview of the company. After their presentation, they break for 15 mins.
When you come back everyone must answer the question, why do you want to be a flight attendant in front of about 80 people including the judging panel. yes this is very stressful. you only have 60 seconds. Don't talk about things that have no relevance. Talk about how your previous job experiences have prepared you for this job. After this, only 15 people will be chosen to advance. That's why you must have this question rehearsed and prepared. Speak clearly and pay attention to your body language. It's okay to be nervous. Everyone is. I took off my glasses so I couldn't see anyone looking at me.
After that they break for 45 mins while they pick out the people who will advance. After that they ask one on one questions. I did wing this part because I couldn't find any questions about this part on glassdoor. Make sure you read over their mission statement and anything else you can read about the company. Pay close attention to what they say about their company.
I got my call back 14 days later.
It was a virtual one on one and after this process they alerted me of my training date a week later. The process was so pretty seemless and the company is good to work for but any little mistake you make you can be out.
The interview process was quick and easy. The recruiters were nice and answered all of my questions. They explained how the benefits worked and were very knowledgeable and the company.
I applied online. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Atlanta, GA) in May 2026
Interview
Most of the interview involved picking apart my previous work experience. Asked a few basic questions, they are just looking for a certain look. It’s obvious. My look did not fit the part
