First: Submit online application. I submitted mine the day of the group interview. You will receive a confirmation email that it has gone through. If you do not receive this email, still attend the group interview, you should be processed.
Second: Attend group interview. My group interview was in Norfolk, Va on 09FEB2017. It started at 1700 and lasted until 21:30EST. First, submit one copy of resume to FA. They will take your height and ask you to be seated. I was smiling and friendly to everyone that I came across but I did not "dominate" the room. Be sure to dress professionally (I wore a blazer, blouse and skirt, greenish brown with black, close toed 3" heels). I also suggest lipstick/stain and mascara. They read an over of the company, pay/benefits, and requirements for the job and answer questions. I was well informed and did not need to ask questions but many other candidates did. They will also tell you when your class date will be. There is an intermission when you contemplate if this is a right fit, then you will make a brief statement to the group on why you would make a great addition to the SkyWest team. I started out with addressing the FA then the room. You have one minute so it may be easiest not to address the interviewers by name. My speech was brief and to the point. I mentioned job experience and qualities. They know you want to become a flight attendant and will ask why during the f2f so focus on why they should want you. Also, have great posture, smile and speak clearly. It is important that they know your briefing capabilities. They reviewed all candidates’ resumes (45min) and posted names on the door. Of 26, 10 were selected. Two of those selected did not give a strong presentation but were multilingual and had a strong background. Make sure to have a quality resume. If you are picked, you will fill out a questionnaire that asks reasoning for being fired/ asked to quit or reasoning for switching jobs or have been reprimanded. During my f2f they asked a few questions about me, explanation of the questionnaire, asked me to recite a paragraph and 2 situational questions. Make sure to watch your posture, smile and be confident. It is hard to say that you are able to calm a passenger when you can't calm yourself.
Third: I received my hiring email on 17FEB2017 at 20:00EST
