The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines
Interview
It was a pretty fast paced to the point interview. We had about 100 people apply and were split into two rooms. You are allowed to check in one hour before the call time. You are asked to bring a copy of your resume and a recruiter accepts it from you and asks basic questions. Make sure that you apply online prior to attending. No need for an cover letter or references( I brought all of those and they were not accepted.) The first half is just an introduction to the airline and expectations of the position should it be offered. Then there is an answer question period. I cannot stress enough that you be respectful and thoughtful during this time. Wait your turn, do not interrupt anyone, I saw some of this happen and it was not appreciated at all. After that you have a short break then you are asked "why would you be a good flight attendant for SkyWest. Please prepare a 1 minute genuine answer for the direct question. I thought that I would wing it and found myself not sure of how to wrap it up. Do not make the same mistake that I made. After everyone answers the question there is another break while they review resumes and come up with a list. They posted it on the door of the room that you were in. They chose about 30 people. I'm not sure what they are looking for in particular because while I was one of the ones chosen there were some in my group who were well spoken and put together that I just knew that they were a shoo in, that was not chosen. After you are chosen you are called into a room and given a piece of paper with questions on them. One of the questions was "have you ever been fired?" I answered honestly. Make your own decision. I have been told that that is a deal breaker but as there is a two week waiting period and as I said I have no idea what they are looking for, I don't know if that had a negative effect. Then on to one on one interviews. Lots of behavioral questions. Practice answering them. Overall everyone was very polite and seemed very genuine.

It was a virtual one on one and after this process they alerted me of my training date a week later. The process was so pretty seemless and the company is good to work for but any little mistake you make you can be out.
The interview process was quick and easy. The recruiters were nice and answered all of my questions. They explained how the benefits worked and were very knowledgeable and the company.

Most of the interview involved picking apart my previous work experience. Asked a few basic questions, they are just looking for a certain look. It’s obvious. My look did not fit the part
