      Talent Acquisition Analyst Interview

      Jan 10, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Boston, MA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Slalom (Boston, MA) in Oct 2017

      Interview

This was the best, and most thorough, interview process I have ever experienced. The entire process from the initial phone screen to my offer lasted approximately two months, and consisted of a phone interview, 2 in person coffee meetings (one with the Director of Recruiting and one with the manager the role directly reported into), followed by an on-site interview where I presented on a project the team had given me a few days before, and a meeting with the General Manager of Slalom Boston. As a candidate, I truly appreciated the openness of interviewers, the honesty of the feedback at every stage, and just how deliberate each interaction was. As much as my skills and fit were being vetted, I found it extremely valuable to get a glimpse into the culture and people in the office, as well as the type of work I would be doing on a day- to- day basis.

Thank you for the feedback! As recruiting is both an art and a science, we believe in the importance of showcasing our culture, people and work alongside the process of vetting a candidate's skills for a role, while also making sure our candidates have ample opportunity to assess Slalom and the role's fit for them. We're glad this was consistent with your experience and that it all resulted in such a positive outcome - congrats on the offer and decision to join!

      Anonymous employee
      Manchester, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (Manchester, England) in Jan 2022

      Interview

The interview process wasn't overly formal and each interview was very conversational and laid back. I was asked questions about my experience and what I am looking for in a job but nothing to grill me or catch me out. They were genuinely interested in hearing about what I wanted from a job and a company. I had an initial recruiter phone call followed by an interview with the UK Talent Acquisition Director and then another phone call with a Senior Manager.
