Interview
Recruiter reached out to me; I didn’t apply. HR screen then I did a case study involving 3 data sets to make a prediction. I presented this to 2 employees, one who would’ve been at my level and one my supervisor . Although the interview flowed casually, I knew I had a deficiency which they picked up on.
I am SUPER impressed though…the recruiter called me back to explain the rejection and gave me some tips on improving my skill set.
The only thing that could’ve been better was if I had an actual job description, as I was unsure what the focus of the role was.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Slalom (New York, NY)
Interview
HR requested face to face meeting a few days after submitting resume. This is from someone with 0 consulting experience, but went to Ivy League and studied science - so I felt like they would still give you a slight chance even if you don't come from big 5 consulting companies but know what to write in your resume. Interview was more like a friendly chat. Follow up a few days later and was told they moved forward with candidates. Response from HR is prompt and enthusiastic. No hard feelings at all.
