I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Slalom (Chicago, IL)
Interview
It was a very aggressive interview process, but there was a consistency with the messaging from the very beginning. They moved fast and there was never any doubt which direction things were headed. While the general theme was more about a cultural fit, it didn't come without a fair share of questions about technical skills, dealing with various client situations, and delivering with success.

Question 1
There really weren't a lot of questions. It was more conversational, where they would talk about Slalom and the core values, allowing me to ask more questions.
Recruiter screening focused on background and fit, followed by a hiring manager interview assessing technical and consulting skills, and a final director round evaluating strategic thinking, communication, and overall alignment.
I applied online. I interviewed at Slalom (Santa Monica, CA) in Aug 2025
Interview
Initial HR interview then interview with hiring manager and then never heard again from the company. Reached out multiple times for follow up on whether moving forward or not, and never got a response. Job posting still on.
5 or 6 rounds, including a technical screening panel interview. Role-based questions and specific scenarios. Met with various practice leaders and engagement leads. The whole process took about 6 weeks.
