I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Slalom (Palo Alto, CA) in Jul 2015
Interview
My experience interviewing at Slalom was extremely positive. My recruiter Audrey was great to work with and she kept in continual contact with me throughout the interview process. She helped me understand what I could expect from each round of interviews, which helped me feel prepared and ready. During the interview process I met with consultants and several levels of management to discuss my experience, the services Slalom offers to its clients, and the unique culture at Slalom. Everyone I met was pleasant, welcoming, and interested in hearing not only about my qualifications, but also my interests and passions! This is not something I've experienced during interviews at other companies, but I was pleasantly surprised by Slalom's desire to get to know who I am and what I'm all about.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During the interview process I was asked about what types of clients I'm most interested in supporting. Having recently come from another consulting firm where my client assignments were not typically mine to choose, it was great to hear that Slalom's managers are interested in finding a client assignment that matches my preferences as well as my skills.
Mostly standard consulting interview questions: ask about your past work experience, what were the difficulties and how you overcame these difficulties, etc. Overall process took a little bit longer than expected due to difficulty to get interviewers' availability.
Recruiter screening focused on background and fit, followed by a hiring manager interview assessing technical and consulting skills, and a final director round evaluating strategic thinking, communication, and overall alignment.

Initial HR interview then interview with hiring manager and then never heard again from the company. Reached out multiple times for follow up on whether moving forward or not, and never got a response. Job posting still on.
