I was initially contacted by a recruiter to set up an interview via MS Teams. Unfortunately, there were technical issues with the meeting setup, as the platform required me to be part of the organization to join. Once this was resolved, the interview itself was straightforward and conducted professionally. During the conversation, I was informed that my skills aligned well with the requirements of the role.
However, a few days later, I was informed by the recruiter that my skills did not match the position, which contradicted the positive feedback I received during the interview. Shortly after this communication, I noticed that the company reposted the same role, but this time as a 3-month contract instead of the full-time permanent position I initially applied for. This sequence of events raised questions about the transparency of the recruitment process.
While the interview itself was conducted professionally, the inconsistencies in communication and the subsequent changes to the job posting left me feeling uncertain about the company's hiring practices.
