The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Smarsh (Portland, OR) in Nov 2024
Interview
I talked to 2 people in engineering team, and we talked about things in a normal way where I explained my views, values, and style. This was an ideal interview because they were not trying to rate me based on leetcode test. Just talking, seeing that I know what I am talking about, and align with their values.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Smarsh (Bengaluru) in Dec 2024
Interview
Waste of time.
They don't know the interview process themselves, unclear about number of rounds. Earlier they told me technical rounds and then hiring manager round . After I finished all, they said your feedbacks are positive and they may roll out offer or may take one more director of engineering round. They asked me to fly to Bengaluru for this round as they dnt want to take this round virtually. I had a 90 min discussion with the guy. Firstly he made me wait for 30 mins as at 12:30 pm he still hasn't came to the office, later in interview I can see his eyes closing many a times while I was talking to him. They are taking candidates very lightly I guess ( as others are also saying the same thing in their reviews)

Bad company. Old office. bad management. first interview: Interviewer mocked my coding skills. HR said I passed, but also that my code is not good. second interview: nice vp r&d, but doesn't know any new technology. HR asked me about my coding skills, and told that my coding skill is not good compare to others (so why you interview me?), she asked again my salary expectation, I said the same amount as I said at the first phone call, she told me I said then 2,000 less.
