SmartStyle interview questions

The first step is an over the phony interview. They ask simple questions such as your strengths and weaknesses in the business, where you see yourself in the industry 5 years from now. They ask you Bring 2 models to an audition you are required to do a simple long layer haircut and a blowout and a men's haircut. (Some locations ask that you do a highlight through the crown but it's up to the manager at the location) You are timed, they come by and check your work but they don't hover. They critique the work, then take you in the office for a sit down interview. The manager I interviewed with was all about promising me this and that and telling me how great my career would be. Even though later down the line I didn't feel this company was the right fit for me, the interview had me pumped, so inspired and ready to do this.

District leader will meet in what would be your home salon, typically on a slower afternoon. Very simple. Sit in the back of the salon, chat for a few minutes, get asked a few questions,& done. They will let you know they will call you once they have spoken with their regional supervisor. If they like you, they will run your information through their computer to make sure you are eligible for hire. If you are, then they can begin the hiring process.
