2 stages of Zoom interviews with Manager and Director (which were good experiences), followed by the Sydney based HR and senior stakeholders (average experience). The final in person interview went "we have these problems we'd like you to address in this role, x, y, z". I told them my solutions which had worked elsewhere and they effectively said, "you want us to change? Can't you provide solutions that allow us to do everything like we do now and get different results?". Obviously I said no. And then there was radio silence, nothing back to me or the recruitment agency for weeks and weeks. Eventually I pushed for feedback and the Manager admitted they had struggled with Sydney stakeholders and were thinking of hiring a more junior professional to address volumes. Some really great aspects to the business but sadly, all of them were based outside of Australia.
