I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Smithbucklin (Washington, DC) in Aug 2015
Interview
I applied online and within two days they emailed me to set up an initial phone interview. The interviewer told me a bit about the position and the company, and then asked me to walk through my resume with her. They said they would get back to me within 1-2 after the interview, but they emailed me only a couple days later letting me know that they would not be moving forward with my application. Overall, I thought the interviewer did a good job helping me to feel comfortable; the interview felt natural.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Smithbucklin (Washington, DC) in Apr 2013
Interview
First was a phone screening by HR. Then one in person interview to meet with HR and one member of the event services team. Then second in person interview to meet with managers and directors from event services team. Called the same day after second interview with offer. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The interviews in person were very casual and I could tell the members of the event services team were very casual because of their questions, body language, clothing, etc.
