I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Smithbucklin (Washington, DC) in Jan 2018
Interview
Very friendly staff throughout the whole process. Expectations were made clear to me and the questions centered on how my experience pertained to the job at hand. Everyone was very clear that if I had questions I should absolutely ask. Overall I would put it as a great experience. Everyone knew what they were talking about and expected the same from me. They know what's required of the job so questions that might seem odd definitely apply to the job.
I first had an interview with a recruiter. After not hearing for weeks, I followed up and was told that they close the role I interviewed for. I ended up interviewing for another role and the manager spoke a lot about the person that was leaving the role. They even gave me the person's first and last name even though I was not going to interview with them. We barely talked about me. I was not sure if they were trying to see if I was a good fit for the role or if they just wanted someone to be exactly like the person that was leaving. I have never had that happen in an interview before. I guess I should not have followed up after not hearing from the recruiter.

Interview
Started with a phone interview and then was brought in to interview with 4-5 people that would be on my team/clients. HR took a few days to get back to me and then started 2 weeks later.
great recruiters who are positive and well connected to the business. You get to meet at least 3 team members you will work with either in person or via video.
