Long but fair and very corporate, several interviews to go through and it does drag on, but overall went pretty smoothly and also people were nice to talk to and meet

Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Smithbucklin (Washington, DC) in Aug 2013
Interview
Phone interview with someone from Chicago, then came in to DC office to meet with 2 people separately. Came back a week and a half later and met with 2 more sets of people. All in all, met with HR staff, a manager, a supervisor and some staff in same job title as open position. Sometimes it was one-on-one, sometimes it was 2-to-1. There was a lot of down time waiting between interviews. Some question overlap. Seems like a great company, but it was a big commitment to interview with them. Had to take lot of time off present job plus take an online personality test. Disappointing that invested that much time and didn't get an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"Describe something you said that was not understood the way you meant it." It's happened plenty of times, just couldn't think of a good example off the top of my head that is appropriate to share in an interview.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Smithbucklin in Sep 2014
Interview
The process was fairly easy and what I expected. I was contacted by a recruiter through LinkedIn, and they put me in touch with the person doing the hiring for the open position. They were extremely nice and helpful throughout the process. The only thing that I found annoying was the inconsistency in the people I was talking to. By the time I was scheduled for an in-person interview, I had already gone through 3 people, just to set the thing up. But, the interview was fine. I met with 3 different people during the first interview and one new person during the last. The questions were pretty standard and there wasn't anything that tripped me up. Overall the process was painless and I was happy to get an offer, even if I didn't accept (family commitments that come first).

Initial phone interview with a recruiting team member. Consequently had two face to face interviews after that. During the face to face interviews I met with at least two people each time.
