I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at SolarCity (Houston, TX)
Interview
Applied on indeed. Received email confirmation to come in for interview. It was a group interview which then broke off into one on one sessions. Everybody was dressed to impress in formal business attire. Interview with recruiter was straight forward. If you don't have sales experience and can not hold a conversation, this isn't for you. Luckily, I am very energetic and persuasive so this is the right fit for me. Commission and retail operations explained. He asked a few questions and then I asked a few questions. Told me usually hold second interview but I was hired on the spot and then sent email to apply directly to SolarCity website.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SolarCity (Houston, TX) in Sep 2016
Interview
Applied online and a hiring manager got back to me within a couple of days. Communicated via email and took a quick skills and personality test. I then spoke with a hiring manager and sales manager over the phone and through video chat. Conversations were easygoing and employers really wanted to sell me on the company. They are incredibly passionate about SolarCity's mission and are looking to expand. It was a positive experience!
