Was reached out to by a recruiter regarding an open Treasury role. As usual, it starts with an introductory phone call with the recruiter, then goes on to the hiring manager. The time period between that was short, and once passed the hiring manager stage, it was an interview with a higher-up Treasury Director. On the fault of the recruiter, they set up the meeting room terribly so both the director and I had to wait to be let in to the meeting, causing us to lose 15 minutes of the interview. After this interview, all communication went cold. I've followed up with the recruiter multiple times, but to no avail. I've seen this role reposted multiple times, but they seem to prefer ghosting candidates rather than sending a courtesy automated rejection email so candidates can go about their job search.
