I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sonder (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2017
Interview
I applied through Angel List, and got a phone screen within a week. This was then followed up with a challenge/written exam, which you are given 24 hours to complete. The challenge was quite difficult, and took around ~8 hours to complete, which to do while balancing a full time job was not an easy task. This was followed up with an in person interview with the direct manager, and that was followed up by two more phone interviews with higher level employees. The last interview was with the CEO.
Besides the challenge, everything else was fairly straightforward.
