Applied for the position online. Waited and waited for over a month with no response at all. Took it upon myself to reach out to recruiters. They all have "We're hiring" all over their profiles and to reach out to them to discuss. Took about 2 weeks for one recruiter to finally respond. She was very helpful but told me that another recruiter was handling the hiring of the position. It was one that i had sent emails and LinkedIn messages to with no response. I was told by the one recruiter who actually replied to provide times/dates that would work for me to be contacted. Finally the recruiter responsible for the position set up a phone call with me. Call was very quick (about 10 mins) after which I was told that he was going to have the hiring manager call me after the weekend and that if I didn't hear from him to call the recruiter back. Tuesday comes and goes and nothing from no one. Calls and emails to the recruiter go unanswered. Finally the hiring manager emails me to tell me that the position has been filled. Still to this day the recruiter didn't have the decency to inform me. 2 months of me trying to reach out and get in contact with someone. If you weren't interested initially, just say so. But then to finally get in contact with someone who shows interest only to be told a couple days later that the position is filled, doesn't say much about the hiring practices, communication, or anything positive about a company.

Met with Vivek at a place near Cal-Train and had an informal chat. He basically decided that, since I worked at a large company, I didn't work quickly. Sonder ghosted me but then have contacted me twice since (in 5 months). Each time, I bring up the previous contact and then get ghosted again.
