Had a 30 min call with the HR and the a 1 hr coding challenge on codeinterview.io. I didn't pass the coding challenge which is unfortunate because I provided an answer and explained my thought process and I had relevant experience. I was hesitant to work for the company in the first place. Their tech team looked like a good opportunity, but I was concerned about the amount of low reviews this company has despite the fact that they are still so new. A good company culture is important for not just the technical team, but it should be consistent throughout the entire company, which doesn't seem to be the case for the lower paid employees.
