I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sonic Automotive
Interview
Submitted my resume online and received an email the next day. I scheduled an interview later that week and met with an office manager and another manager. After having a simple interview with both mainly discussing why i'd like to work here and what qualified me for the position, I was asked to return later to meet with the GM. The following Monday I met with the GM and was offered the position. I first had to pass a background test that was done in HR and later I visited a clinic to complete a drug screening before the position was made official.

Not really anything difficult, but they did ask what I knew about the company.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sonic Automotive (Baytown, TX) in Feb 2024
Interview
I applied online through Indeed. I had to take the Sonic customer service assessment right after applying and a day later, I was emailed by the recruiter to schedule a phone interview. The phone interview lasted about 25 minutes and it mainly consisted of the recruiter explaining the role and giving information about the company. I was asked about my experience. A day after the phone interview, an in person interview was scheduled. The in person interview lasted about 25 minutes as well. I met with 3 people individually and it felt more like casual conversation than an interview. The only thing I was asked was what my duties were at the last job. They told me it would take 24-48 for a decision; however, I got offered the position 6 hours later.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Sonic Automotive (Monrovia, CA)
Interview
Met with controller and General Manager. Was asked about my work experience and where I see myself in the next five and ten years. As well as my aspiration from BMW of Monrovia
