I applied online through the company website after I saw a listing for the position at my franchise on Craigslist. I was called by "Adam" about three days after I submitted my application for an in-restaurant interview. I interviewed with the manager in the morning at the restaurant. He did not seem to really have read my application before because he did not check my availability and did not seem to know where I went to school and my general previous experience beforehand. I told him that I was a student who attended college out-of-state but returned home for the summers and he told me that he did need help for the summer. He outright told me that due to my customer service experience, I would be more likely to work at the cash register or at the drive-thru rather than in the kitchen. He had interviews the day of and the day after my interview so he said that he would call me back afterwards if I got the job. He never called me back.
