I interviewed at Sonic (Lawrenceville, GA) in May 2017
Interview
I applied online and the next day I got a text saying I should "come in for an interview tomorrow". I went in and was interviewed by different GM than who initially texted me, but she was super sweet and the interview was really easy and fast. She asked me questions as if I was already hired. The first two questions she asked me were when could I start and how often am I available. She also asked me if I wanted to work as a carhop or in the kitchen and I said either because it's my first job and I want to learn. She put me as a carhop and I start next week. Basically if you apply in or near the summer, you got the job.
The process was a very simple and friendly interview. Very professional for a fast food chain. Would recommend for a high school student or a recent graduate looking to start making money.
Quick and simple. Simply apply online for the location you want to work in. When they are hiring, they call you back rather quick. Go for the interview and it's easy.
