I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Sonic (Provo, UT) in Jul 2013
Interview
Depends on the person interviewing you. The 1st assistant who interviewed me was eventually fired for theft and for sitting most of his shifts. When he asked me to rate myself 1-10, I rated myself a 6 (my credentials showed I was better). Although the interview went on from there, it was pretty much over. I later found out that I needed to at least rate myself a 9 or 10 (1-10). As a liar, he expected me to lie. I eventually got the job, because one of the 2nd assistants (the one who did the 1st assistant's job for him to prevent the store from going under) looked at my resume and said I deserved a chance. ADVICE: repeat your resume, they probably didn't read it, and if they did, they skimmed. If you're a quiet person who just likes to do your job well, get used to acting pretty cocky and telling your interviewer why you're the best thing since sliced bread. It doesn't matter that it's a first job, if an older person is interviewing you, you are applying for a position below their highest achievement so adjust accordingly.
It was just a smooth 15 minute conversation on what is needed what am I able to give & am I able to do certain things which i agreed & ended up working close to a year for the company
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What moved to me apply and why should they hire me
Very nice and just asking questions and your experience with the company or had a job recently it was good everything went smoothly and nice the only thing that sucks is when you come and do your computer work just because you might be there for a while
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sonic (Douglasville, GA)
Interview
Super easy, practically just hired me on the spot. I was hired because of my consistency checking if there were positions. Just show good traits and be a little lucky and you shouldn't have a difficulty.
