I talked with a SouthLand Project Manager at my college's career fair. We talked about company culture, structure, and values along with my past experiences, skills, and interests. The PM described his job and the necessary skills one needs in order to succeed as a PM. Prior to leaving, I gave my contact information and received an automated email an hour later thanking me for my time and letting me know I'd receive an email if I was selected to continue with the application process. I received an email a few days later stating they'd like to schedule me for an in-person interview. I selected my availability and met with the same PM along with his Boss a few weeks later. The interview was personable and causal; they asked non-technical questions regarding content from my resume.
