I submit a resume for five of the positions, and Southwest requested more material for three of the positions. I sent in writing samples and a "Why Southwest?" essay, and then I had a phone interview regarding those positions. When I was called for an interview in Dallas, it took 23 hours to fly down, have my 45-minute interview, and then fly back. I heard back exactly one week later. I'll openly admit that the process was somewhat nerve-wracking, and it took a few months to hear back from the initial resume submission.
