I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Alameda, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
The over the phone and F2F interview were very easy. The recruiter that interviewed me for the F2F was awesome! He was so warm and welcoming! He really tried to make me feel comfortable. Other people have said their interview lasted around 20 mins, but my interview lasted for about 45 mins, only because we conversed about other things besides the job. It was the best and most comfortable interview I have ever had. Word of advice, be yourself, show your personality, and make sure you use the STAR method when answering the interview questions. I have completed the drug test, fingerprinting, and background check. Now I'm just waiting to here from SWA. Hopefully, I got the job!

Question 1
Over the phone: Why do you want to work for Southwest? What do you know about the job duties? And we reviewed the information on my 10 year work history.
F2F: Why do you want to work for Southwest? Tell me about a time you had to deal with an unmotivated coworker. How do you handle difficult customers?
I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Phoenix, AZ)
Interview
The interview was a very casual meet and greet. Several HR employees were sitting at different tables casually asking questions to potential candidates. If the HR Rep was interested, he had you speak to another one of his colleagues. From that point, if they both gave you the thumbs up, you were drug tested and finger-printed on the spot. A job offer came within ten days of that first and only interview.

Behavioral interview questions, know things about the company, have questions for the interviewer, smile smile smile. Have knowledge of the position expectations and qualifications. I would recommend STAR method answers and just be prepared and be yourself.

Interview
I had attended a hiring event and it was great, Southwest seems to be a great company. It took hours though, so if you plan on attending a hiring event held by Southwest, I'd plan a good 5 hours to be there. Show up dressed good, prepared for an interview. Take your resume.
