I applied online. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Jun 2016
Interview
I applied in April 2015. Received 2 emails throughout the year asking me to be patient and that they haven't forgotten about me. Phone interview on June 15th. A lot of yes and no question & a few situational questions. My interview was brief. No more than 20 minues. The recruiter told me they'd make a decision and would notify me with a phone call to move forward or a tbnt email. I received a call on june 22nd to move foward for a f2f in Dallas! I'm excited and nervous! Will fill you all in about the f2f process.
***update
Had my f2f on July 7th. Everyone at headquarters was genuinely nice! I wasn't as nervous as I excepted to be. You're being watched as soon as you walk in. Be your cheery self and have fun. They just want to get to know the real you. I had two ladies interview me. I got hugs when they were done with me. :) & if I don't get it, I will definitely reapply. SWA is a great company with wonderful people! Don't forget to SMILE!

Interview
The in person interview was a wonderful experience to me. I’ve interviewed with Delta and American for flight attendant and I can honestly say, I didn’t feel at ease with them like I did with Southwest. Because of this, I was able to relax. They made me feel like I was talking to a friend or family member. I felt very comfortable.
