I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Denver, CO) in Sep 2014
Interview
I applied in April and had a phone interview in July. Phone interview was great. I had my F2F with them in September in Denver and it was probably one of my least favorite interviews I've ever done. Reading the other interviews online I expected it to be more relaxed and fun. This wasn't the case for me. Everyone said to be yourself but I felt like I could because they were very intense. Two people interviewed me and they took me into the office and immediately pulled up my application. I was off on a few dates and they really grilled me over it. The woman said "it was okay" but I could see by her facial expression she wasn't impressed. It set the tone for the rest of the interview. Be sure your application is exact and your resume dates are exact. They were very serious during the interview which made me pretty nervous because I expected SW to be more of a fun company to interview with. Not what I expected and I probably will not apply again.
Application, ODVI, F2F. All pretty straightforward, emphasize safety and customer service. If they like you, youll get moved onto F2F round. Practice STAR Method and be comfortable talking in front of a camera

I applied online. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2026
Interview
The in person interview was a wonderful experience to me. I’ve interviewed with Delta and American for flight attendant and I can honestly say, I didn’t feel at ease with them like I did with Southwest. Because of this, I was able to relax. They made me feel like I was talking to a friend or family member. I felt very comfortable.

The interview was on zoom in 2022. It was with a recruiter and flight attendant. They were very nice and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. The whole interview took around 30 minutes.
