Applied online via the SWA job website. About 1 or so weeks later was contacted by the People department asking if I was still interested, and if I was available to do a phone interview at that time or possibly the next day. The phone interview lasted about 25 minutes, really just going over my previous related experience, why I wanted to work for Southwest, and why I would be a great addition to the family. At the conclusion of the phone interview, I was told I was going to be moved forward to a F2F interview, and was then sent an online application to fill out, as well as some additional forms (consent to background/credit/fingerprint checks.) The in-person interview at HDQ was extremely laid back. I arrived about 30 minutes early to do fingerprinting, and was promptly taken back to one of the interrogation rooms at my scheduled interview time. The interview was panel style, and was supposed to include HR, and two operational supervisor/managers, however one wasn't able to make it. The questions were fairly straightforward, and I think they were more interested in my personality, and how I would fit with my possible teammates, than in some of my experience in the industry. All in all a very relaxed experience.
