I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (San Antonio, TX) in Feb 2016
Interview
Very slow process. I applied online and received a phone interview a month later for the San Antonio location, one month after the phone interview I had a face-to-face. The staff were extremely friendly. They allow you to take selfies with your cell phone to lighten up the mood. They answer all questions before the actual interview start. They tell you about the schedule, benefits including free flights with the number of companion fliers, hotel discounts, and health packages. After you learn more about the company a supervisor will come out to take you into a different room for an actual interview. It is not a panel interview. You meet with one person and that person basically decides if you will move forward. It was simple stereotypical customer service interview questions.
