I applied online and then received a invitation to have 1 round with a AI Bot. I was successful in that interview and was invited to 3 additional rounds of interviews over the course of a week with team members and managers. I was asked basic interview questions in each round and gave excellent responses. I also asked great questions regarding the position, department and company goal/ vision for the next quarter. I knew by round 3 and 4 before the interview even began that they did not want me for the position. The interviewers were dry and lackluster in demeanor and responses. They seemed irritated by my presence and the fact that they even had to meet with me virtually. This was a basic entry level position. My qualifications were more than enough so I am not sure why I was not selected for the position. My best guess is they were going through the motions and someone else was already guaranteed this position. I was trying to get my foot in the door with a seemingly good company and secure a full time permanent position. The role I currently hold is a temporary contract position but way more technical in nature. This position is not hard and doesn't warrant 4 rounds of interviews. The process was long and a complete waste of time for everyone involved. I would suggest 1 round with the bot and 1 with an actual person. Good luck to anyone interviewing.
