Started with a HR Screen phone call which described the position and company. Then a take home project assignment which was quite simple. Afterwards an in person project presentation on site with questions, and then a few behavioral interviews.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SpaceX (Hawthorne, CA)
Interview
Behavioral questions like why do you want to work at SpaceX? Tell me about a project you are proud of and what you worked on? What design tradeoffs did you make? Then some quick, simple, technical questions at the end.
Very heavy interview- was drilled on all sorts of EE topics, and asked many follow up questions based on my answers. Still waiting to hear back. Topics ranged from filter design, MOSFET basics, embedded systems, etc.
