I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Speedway in Aug 2014
Interview
My first interview was with an HR employee who asked the normal basic questions, such as Why do you want to work for Speedway? The second interview was with the District Manager of the area I applied for and his questions were much more specific to work as a manager. The second interview was, in my opinion, the best because the interviewer was a genuinely friendly person who was simply trying to get a feel for my personality and abilities.
Whole process went very fast. Two days after I faxed my resume/application, I got the first interview. I went to the second interview 2 days after that. Less than 1 hour after leaving, I received the offer via phone which I accepted.
I wore business casual for both interviews (Button up shirt and tie with khakis and nice shiny shoes). I brought hard copies of my resume to both interviews. For those that need to know, there was no drug test. They don't do drug tests for any employees.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Speedway (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2017
Interview
The interviews aren't uniform. You interview with a district manager. Not really a professional setting. More of a get to know you and the job type thing. Generic previous job questions.

Not really any difficult questions but it was interesting to me that they asked me to bring my high school diploma with me.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Speedway (New York, NY) in Nov 2016
Interview
Applied on line thru company website and received a phone call for an interview within five days. Met with a Centralized Recruiter who liked my resume an during the interview offered me a Co-Manager position. She made the job sound very interesting an I was pleased with the offer. I then was sent on a second interview two days later to meet with a District Manager. I didn't really get to speak with him due to the fact he had a meeting around the time of my interview. I was disappointed but he offered me a chance to come back the very next day an I was hired with the company.
