Completely unprofessional. Wasted time on a total of four interviews. Each was about an hour long. Three of those were video interviews which obviously require additional preparation. Dealing with the recruiting team felt clunky; multiple recruiters were involved as they seem to be short staffed for the number of positions which they actively advertise.
The video interviews with members of the Sales team were far from well organized. I dealt with a number of odd issues which reflected poorly on Splunk. Example 1: An indifferent attitude from a poorly selected interviewer. If you are going to depend on peer interviews in the selection process, please train the employees to at least fake their interest in the process. Perhaps providing a list of smart and inquisitive questions might help. Example 2: Viewing an interviewer's nude partner in the background during a video interview streamed from the interviewer's bedroom. Ridiculous. There were several other less than appropriate incidents.
Note to Splunk.....Please spare me the false concern and don't ask me to contact you in response to this review as I've tried numerous times to speak with Splunk's recruiting team to provide/receive feedback to my experience.
