Interview
I applied on the company website and a recruiter reached out to me.Had a phone screen - the recruiter was great and she moved me forward to a call with a manager and a peer. The peer was great but the manager seemed like she was in a rush or had better things to do. Overall, okay experience even though I felt rushed.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to solve a problem on the spot.
Strengths and weaknesses, etc.
Pretty standard behavioral questions.
The first round was a HR telephone screening that included some basic questions about the role, fit, and salary expectations. The second round was with the hiring manager, where I was asked about my experience and some scenario-based questions. The third round was a role play, which was a complete disaster and reflected a lack of interest on their part.

About myself and my last roles and why I left. My strength, weakness and scenario based qurstions
15-minute scheduled screen with recruiter, recruiter called me 20 minutes late…then asked why Splunk and why sales. I don’t know what they gained, but I received a no-reply rejection email a week later and zero context. Very unprofessional, and I’d expect more. I have interviews with their competitors this week, so their loss I guess.

Interview
It was a smooth process, got through the first screening process and had an online interview with the Business Development Manager. It was great experience speaking to her but I didn’t get through the next stage as they found someone with more experience.
