      Interview

Interview Format: The process consisted of a 30-minute behavioral interview followed by a 45-minute technical session. Technical Round: The technical question involved designing a basic calculator. The question itself was straightforward, and the expectations were clear. I appreciated the simplicity, although it leaned more toward assessing fundamental design thinking rather than deeper system knowledge. Behavioral Round: This part of the process was challenging—not due to the questions themselves, but the communication. The manager’s audio was difficult to hear, which made the conversation more strained than it needed to be. Additionally, there were occasional language barriers that made it harder to maintain a productive back-and-forth. At one point, there was some miscommunication around my current technical responsibilities. Despite explaining my role and stack clearly, there seemed to be a disconnect.
