I was led to believe I would be hired as a manager but by the time the store opened, the position was already filled. Disappointing to be sure. I accepted a position at a store close to home, and was promoted to another store in a few months. Hoping for an additional promotion very soon.
It was a good experience, come prepared and be willing to offer ideas and situations that you used in other roles to help enhance the department. Ask questions do not solely relay on the interviewers questions you should have questions as well

asked many questions like, "describe a time when," "tell me about an instance when," - most bizarre interview i've ever had, so scripted and worthless. let me tell you about my qualifications and experience, i'm not a catalogue ready to regurgitate everything i've ever dealt with. was like the interviewer had less experience than me and yet had this lengthy script to assess my busywork history or something. really stupid.
