The interview process consisted of a phone screen, a virtual interview with the hiring manager and then in-person panel interviews that took half of a day. The first few in person interviews went really well but the last interview with two gentlemen that I would work with or report to me felt more like an interrogation, not an interview. The recruiter mentioned how the team was excited to meet me and that I wouldn’t be caught by surprise with the questions they’d ask - that wasn’t the case. When one gentlemen was asking me a question the other was huffing/puffing breathing heavily and would often cut my answers off when I would speak - so it definitely was a completely different shift in dynamics compared to the previous interviews. This experience had me question if I truly see myself working there. Although they didn’t move forward, the reasoning why was very vague. For anyone considering Stand Together, please be cautious and mindful. Maybe it’s a different experience for other teams that support Stand Together? Fast forward, I now recently learned (July 2026) from a connection that the role was given to the exact person who I interviewed with who was making the final interview difficult and cutting off my answers while huffing and breathing heavily. As mentioned, be cautious and aware - as this says a lot about this organizations politics and culture.
