My interview to join the graduate development programme fell outside of the normal cycle, so your mileage may vary.
It began with a 1hr written comprehension test, in which a case study of a company's work process was presented and you had to comment on ways to improve the efficiency and productivity of this process in the form of a consultation report.
After this, there was an interview with 2 members of the relevant Stantec division. As the role is for a graduate, their primary focus was finding out about me on a personal level to see if I would be a good candidate to learn and develop with Stantec, rather than my current skills and previous professional experience. Professional experience is desirable although didn't seem very essential. Everyone throughout the process was very friendly and approachable, and the atmosphere was relatively relaxed.
