Very brief 15min call conducted by a non-recruiter, who barely has any idea about the role itself and the recruiting process. Ghosted for weeks after the call Certain questions were phrased oddly

Went through two rounds of interview, one with the recruiter, then another with a panel of 3 leaders. The questions were fairly simple and mostly behavioural based. The leaders were great to interview with and shared deeply about the industry. I received positive feedbacks and was told to complete a reference check (2 managers and 1 non manager), then ghosted entirely despite several follow ups. I had a great experience interviewing with them otherwise, but how it was managed during the last part (wasted mine and my reference's time) truly left me with less than positive parting impressions.
