Interview
Went to a job fair and had an interview with a manager. I received the standard interview questions. Make sure you've done an online application through their website first. It helps speed things up. Customer service experience and dealing with many customers a day is a huge plus. "Why this company," "Strengths and weaknesses," "What would your manager from X say about you," "What would you do in this type of scenario," etc. Had a form for a background check e-mailed to me afterwards and a coupe days later I was told to come in for a second interview with another manager and was hired on the spot. They asked what kinds of questions did I get in the first interview, gave scenarios, told me about the expectations, energy, if you can handle the pressure of "do this, do that, why isn't this finished", etc. Assure them that you're aware of where you fall short (ex.: speaking loudly and with energy) and that you will improve on them. Being a quick learner and able to handle pressure from management is another plus.
